The latest newsletter is out from For The People, a group working to strengthen and defend public libraries. This issue has an excellent report on the group's project to collect governance related data about every U.S. public library system, data that surprisingly aren't collected by any national library organization. #LibraryDefenders #PublicLibraries librariesforthepeople.substack

One thing I’ve been trying to do more lately is go to the library every week. I have couple of books checked out already, so today I got some books for the kid. We’re gonna start reading the Bad Guys series. We did a trial run with a digital version and he loved it! (Yes I’m the annoying parent who makes all the voices while reading books). This is the one thing I truly want to teach my kiddo - love of reading #books #PublicLibraries
