Oooo! You guys, today I have:

•Chatted online with friends.
•Gone for a walk in the woods.
•Sat outside and stretched.
•Napped in a sunbeam.
•Had a shower.

That's gotta be a self care BINGO. 🎊

If I could do this for 100 days or so, I think I could heal my poor body and psyche quite a bit.

I think I have finally shifted from crisis mode to recover mode. Things are still a mess but there's room to heal in there too finally.

Yes yes! To all of this.

@lonelinesscorps is a great tool to reach out to start a chat, about whatever - deep or silly. I use it a lot to see if anybody wants to watch a movie with me. Good place to connect, lots of #spoonies there.
There's a #joinIn tag and community you could check out too.
I have also had good luck building chat groups on Signal if you want something a lil more intimate. Having a group of spoonies to touch base with every day helps a lot.

I had a really fruitful mtg yesterday with an OT from the brain injury org my doc referred me to re the long term brain injury covid left me.
Lots of discussion around executive function limitations and my inability to manage interpersonal stuff in real time.

Ymmv, but in case you didn't know you could ask for that, you can ask for that.
Go on, shake that tree, help might fall out.
