I obviously love the freedoms & possibilities things like 3D printing has brought us - but there's something special about the efficiencies & creativity of using found parts & available materials to make otherworldly & cool-looking things

i usually use thick yoga blocks - not only for yoga but also a lot for calisthenics and stretching too. the thick ones are more stable and i find them a lot more comfortable. lately i have seen them only in Prisma (Finland) and they also have the cork blocks - they feel different but also very good and from what i saw, they are the cheapest there. 9.99 per one block. i didn´t check prices in internet though.
but if you need couple of blocks right now - i´d recommend these ones.

Bought this lineman's (guys that climb poles) phone for five bucks at the Habitat for Humanity store. No idea what to do with it (I haven't had a landline for a decade) but the 70s-80s sci-fi aesthetic is wonderful. I can just imagine picking it up and hearing Han Solo's death star intercom conversation coming out. Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. Early stage, preliminary assembly - still a way to go, but the project seems to be moving in the right direction...
3d design for a new project,
the first one on which I use solidworks instead of Fusion 360 or FreeCAD.
This time its a prop knife in a cyberpunk style. It should have a nice lighting effect if it works correctly.
