Good night! #3GoodThings
1. As I tooted earlier, I got my keyboard working with my old iPhone. I call it my iPhod since it is an old iPhone I use as an iPod.
2. Got the towels washed.
3. I got out of bed, had food to eat and another day of life. That is definitely a good thing.
Sleep well and may your dreams be out of this world. #GoodNight #ProblemSolving
Thanks to technology.
I design and print this upgrade kit for asthma mask.
It’s a elastic system allowing to use mask hand free.
Useful, and a real game changer for everyday
A #Pew Research Centre #survey reveals that while #Americans are open to #AI’s potential benefits, they are #concerned about its #impact on human abilities. A majority believe AI will erode #creativethinking and the ability to form meaningful #relationships. However, there is some optimism about AI improving #problemsolving skills. https://www.pewresearch.org/science/2025/09/17/how-americans-view-ai-and-its-impact-on-people-and-society/?eicker.news #tech #media #news
@mickmel just "don't"?
Look, just "because it's there" doesn't mean it's acceptable to draw from it.
Or would you:
OFC NOT!
It's the same reason I'm a staunch opponent of allowing #CCSS like #MicrosoftWindows & #MicrosoftOffice in classes and schools in general!

I witnessed this today.
Me and my girlfriend stopped at the usual gas station for a coffee and we saw this beautiful, beautiful girl trying to fuel her car.
When she came into the bar to ask for help, she was so nice and gracious.
The girl at the counter took a few seconds to understand that it wasn’t a joke and she was serious.
if you wonder, she didn’t fueled: the fuel hose was ways too short.
She just went in the car and left.
Amazing!
Happy September, happy new school year, and happy #ProblemSolving calendar!

( \(2^{nd}\) announcement)
The #Springer Problem Book for the Indiana College Mathematics Competition (2001-2023) is now available in a (slightly less expensive) softcover format! This book, edited by me, J. Gash, R. Gillman, and @JohnRickert , can be used by students and coaches in a problem solving class, and would also make a great gift or library order! Purchases through the publisher web site generate royalties that support student activities in the #Indiana Section of the #MAA .
Did you notice? August calendar of problems has "relay" format, meaning that answer to 1st problem of a row is needed for next Q, & so on...
Enjoy some #ProblemSolving yourself or w/your students & share your thinking here or on the post.
Happy back to school!

It’s useful to distinguish between three different categories of learning: factual information acquisition, problem-solving, and building a process toolkit
