Great takes, especially in the first half. Possibly the only thing I disagree with here is when he says that in the old days "the #virtuosity was there, but it was at the service of the composition." My impression is that there was about as much pointless noodling in the past as there is now.

And I don't really think jazz would be dead without the emergence of YouTube!
