Watching #MasterAndCommander, a movie which doesn't even half pass the first criterion of the Bechdel test, but it is still one of my favorites.

Unbelievable I have forgotten to add tags related to #MasterAndCommander series of books (a whole epos and universe really) created by outstanding #PatrickOBrian.
I walked my way to this from a number of #historicalfiction books throughout the years, but this is in a league of its own when it comes to naval history, British history, politics and leadership.

I have either read or listened to the Master and Commander series of books countless times now, and I have been working really hard to learn Spanish. So, I am taking a new circumnavigation through the series in Spanish this time.
A glorious set of books, and so much better and more than the movie.
