1). The summit of Taranaki Maunga | Mt Egmont at 2,518m makes it NZ’s 2nd highest mountain (2). On the southern flank, the secondary cone of Panitahi | Fanthams Peak rises to 1,966m (3). Siblings Tongariro, Ngāuruhoe & Ruapehu—over 130km away—send greetings (4).
