Car Wash by the Old Port

I’ve gone back to digital, mostly with my old Canon G12. I still believe in film, but with a house, a collection of short stories to publish, caregiving, etc., I have to put my time/energy where I can. All photography is photography.

Episode 14: The Brenda Page Case, A Scientist Waiting for Science Advances

In this episode we’re back under the northern lights of Old Aberdeen again, right in the heart of the city. We’re in the west end, and a street that’s filled with starter flats for first time buyers, and for those that are starting again. First Bus has launched 36 new electric buses in #Aberdeen, #Scotland. 24 new double-deckers and 12 converted repower vehicles—as part of a £12.7 million investment supporting its goal of a fully zero-emission fleet by 2035. Now running on routes 1 and 2, which serve Robert Gordon University (RGU), the buses offer cleaner, greener travel for students and the wider public. The launch was marked on the RGU campus, where students, including Architecture Masters student Heather McCole, welcomed the initiative as a step towards lower emissions and greater environmental awareness. This forms part of First Bus’s wider £100 million #UK investment in sustainable transport for 2024/25, giving Aberdeen one of the highest proportions of zero-emission #buses in the country.
