An outstanding #FRONTLINE #documentary about the Middle East and specifically the bitter rivalry between #SaudiArabia and #Iran. This was made in 2017 but it's still relevant (or course) today. So much fascinating information and #history; so much more than what we (Americans) get from the MSM or our government.
Entertaining and thoughtful #documentary.

It features interviews with Mahmoud Khalil, now in a Louisiana detention center after being taken into custody by ICE, award-winning journalist Bisan Owda, and Grant Miner, who was expelled from Columbia University because of his participation in the occupation of a campus building. This honestly reminds me quite a bit of the troubled teen industry. They both bear similar MOs.
I'm watching this docuseries on HBO called Telemarketers, but it really buries the lede.
It's actually about police union corruption, how police unions hire ex-con telemarketers who can't get jobs elsewhere to use the names of officers killed or injured in the line of duty without compensation to scam money out of old ladies' social security checks to pay for political protection to run amok in society, and how those same call centers also run scam PACs.
Only the first episode is about telemarketers.

Recorded in 1989 by dutchjdh. It's a great documentary focused on the music with real bluesmen and blues women singing in their homes.
I've met a few of the musicians so it brings back memories but even if you've never met a blues man or especially if you've never met a blues man you will love this video.

Analysts have now studied this scan to determine a little more about what happened in the vessel's final hours. It's helped them understand the scene in detail, confirming contemporary accounts of how long engineers stayed in the boiler room to keep the ship's lights on, theorizing how a porthole window may have been broken, and getting more insights into exactly how the ship sank. "Titanic is the last surviving eyewitness to the disaster, and she still has stories to tell," Parks Stephenson, a Titanic analyst, said to @BBCNews. More details of the analysis will be shared in a National Geographic documentary, "Titanic: The Digital Resurrection," which comes out on April 11.
