quick animal studies from last spring, done is brush pen everything on the 2nd image is referenced from my family’s photos/videos in the group chat. I love how everyone’s first instinct is to take a photo and share with the rest of the fam when we see a critter out and about (or any sign of spring, for that matter )

I love going to the botanical gardens to draw and/or take reference photos
This is an older sketchbook spread that I still like very much. I’m still surprised how well it came out — I just used some ancient stabilo felt tips without doing any kind of undersketch! Having only very limited supplies/colors at hand can often produce unexpectedly fun and cool results
