Hot take: I don`t care how much you love Nintendo but supporting switch 2 and purchasing games u are actively helping with the enshitification of video games and telling companies its okay to price out folxs with less money from an amazing hobby full stop

Wow, that #NintendoDirect didn't excite me *at all* for the #Switch2. Hardly even saw any games of interest to me and the only ones that did are coming to the original Switch also.
I think I'll save up for a Steam Deck or similar instead.

@Cognessence those prices are absolutely insane. Both the games but also the console itself. Switch 1 was a huge success and now they are milking their fan-base.
They are even going back to the LCD screen with bezel instead of succeeding the Switch OLED model that had such a phantastic screen/body ratio. They know that people will still buy it at release since this console has other major selling points. This allows them to come up with a Switch2 OLED model at a later point in time, once sales are stagnating 
I'm in a way disappointed but also not really surprised. Might either hold-off till they release the OLED model or just forget about this nonsense and do other things in my free-time that don't raid my wallet 
Honest reaction to the #NintendoDirect? Where are all the games? Not a lot beyond upgraded Switch games. Mario Kart. Donkey Kong. That wheelchair basketball game. Kirby Air Riders. Hyrule Warriors. Not a big draw. Where’s the new Mario game? What’s my reason to buy a Switch 2 right now? What’s coming beyond the launch window?
Looks cool and all but…I expected more.
It wasn't immediately apparent in the trailer but #TheDuskbloods - the new #FromSoftware game will be a PvPvE multiplayer game, which is a bit disappointing, ngl. PvE, like Monster Hunter - maybe. But PvP will inevitably ruin the fun (for me) and I'm very skeptical about multiplayer PvP with voice chat on a Nintendo console.
