A truly remarkable film. It was my pick for favourite film for decades. Still in top few. I must rewatch it soon.
Of course, it heavily influenced the Dune novel. And all that flowed from that book.

Stunning cinematography and it makes me want to go live in the desert but I just could not get past the racism, white saviourism and lack of women characters.
It’s DEFINITELY of it’s time.
