Hi all, sorry I have not posted recently. Last Friday was a horrific day and I’ve only just felt like normality is coming back.

While attempting to get the kids from school during #StormBabet we got caught in a flash flood and lost our little car. We were rescued by tractor and the kids thankfully collected by a friend until we could reach them the next day.

The incredible kindness of strangers was the one positive thing I will never forget.

"Entire fields have been submerged in water after #StormBabet swept across the #UK, with crops ruined. #ExtremeWeather events are becoming more likely and frequent due to #climate breakdown, and have caused food shortages and price increases.

Last year, farmers faced turmoil because of the extended drought and #ExtremeHeat, which caused crop losses, water shortages and effects on planting and harvesting."
