#AltText: photo of a boxy chandelier, faced with fans that are glowing cyan and teal, with splashes of neon-hued magenta, purple, blue, green and yellow. The fans have subtle diagonal braces and hexagonal enclosures which enhance the pronounced vapourwave aesthetic, which could be from 1987 or 2027.

On closer inspection, it can be recognized as a fancy Corsi-Rosenthal Box.

The future is now!

@AeraLMT hi! People have already suggested some great hashtags. I personally have used a two-part strategy:

1) any poster whose profile pic is wearing a mask gets a click and, if their profile looks like a real human, a follow

2) following people who my role models follow; eg. the follower lists for disabled.social/@tomkindlon and zeroes.ca/@EricCarroll were great sources of people worth following

I've also accumulated a scattershot list of CC folks here zeroes.ca/@datum/1131425998337 which you're welcome to pick through. It's missing many important voices, and I should update it, but it's not meant to be comprehensive, just ➡️ a list of genuine CC folks who are trying to be an evidenced based community that survives a pandemic.

Oooh successful elastomeric #SaltingTheVibe - two folks ahead of me in line started stealing glances and pointing thumbs.

"Well, at least they're keeping it to themselves" I thought

But next thing, they masked up!

They never did make eye contact or anything. Shame, I'd have liked to thank them, but I wasn't going to intrude when they didn't want to engage. Glad they were being kind (or risk-aware)!
