Anyone have any experience with SSH crashing when Plex accesses a share via SSHFS? I've set it up with auto mount now, so it fixes itself when I restart the episode, but it's interfering with my lazy days watching Stargate SG-1. 
I guess I could try to set it up with something else, but I stream a lot of data back and forth from my PC to the Synology NAS, and it's never been a problem except for when using Plex.
@tokyo_0 #TrueCrypt is #abandonware with serious security issues.
Use #VeraCrypt or even better: migrate machines to #Linux and use #LUKS / #dmcrypt instead, as it's the best option at hand.

@gloopsies just gave it a try with my #Synology NAS and was able to mount the directory. But copying was very slow (max. 4MB/s). The NAS is quite old but with SMB I at least had 30MB/s on Linux and more than 50MB/s on Windows. Are there any pitfalls with #sshfs ?

OF course given that (almost) all of this can be done with #neovim and a few other tools it's unlikely to get made...

NFS has locked up my system in the past whenever it would lose a connection---not sure why.
I might use sshfs for simple single user usage, especially if I already have an SSH connection. Seems like it would inherit the security from the SSH/SFTP connection.
From what I see, #sshfs is getting some love from the community since it was archived in 2022-05-26. There is a fork that is focused on fixing bugs and merging PR (maintaining the current software), and there is also an effort to port the software in #Rust. I think these people can get some extra help from the community, especially the Rust fork which has came a long way.

Gerade das neue #Update für #KDE Neon mit #Plasma 5.27 installiert.
Mal wieder, wie so oft die Male vorher auch, haben sie dabei KDE #Connect kaputt gemacht, weil #sshfs wieder ne #Fehlermeldung ausgibt. Musste Connect wieder auf die vorherige Version runterstufen. Ein Glück weiss ich mittlerweile durch die vielen broken Updates bei Connect, wie ich das mache. Am Anfang hatte ich mal gar keinen Plan davon. Aber ärgerlich ist das trotzdem.
