Today we had eggs for breakfast,
As is tradition.
Then we decided to run away,
And promptly headed off to Llandudno.
We arrived and discovered a transport festival,
So decided to visit that.
Bought a few things from the auto jumble,
And looked at a few trucks.
Walked into town for lunch,
Via dropping heavy stuff in the car.
Queued for ages to get fish and chips,
And then ate that on the promenade.
Sue went for a paddle,
While I sat and read.
Went to have a quick look at an antiques centre,
Then had coffee and cake.
Looked at the steam traction,
And the noisy funfair.
Popped in a few charity shops, During the walk back to the car.
Drove back via some small rural roads,
Just enjoying the views of lambs.
Home for some dinner,
And to catch up a few videos.

Today we loaded all the tools,
And went to Boothstown Repair Cafe.
It was quiet due to a Bank Holiday weekend,
But I still got a few repairs done.
Met up with a good friend,
Who gave me a grease gun.
I filled the grease gun,
And greased up my trailer.
Cleared out some workshop rubbish,
And threw out some old work gloves.
Got out my old chainsaw,
What does one do with very old petrol?
Ground the shafts on some letter punches,
And stacked them to make a branding iron head.
Redesigned The Repair Shop diorama lighting,
I will need to modify it soon.
Had dinner with Mum,
Oven baked sausages and potato cubes.
Watched Dr Who,
And a couple of videos.

Today I woke up having actually slept,
And got the laundry going.
Went to meet Sue at work,
And got on with cleaning the windows.
Got Mum's laundry going,
We're going to have to stagger our laundry days.
I wrote a long letter,
Addressing yesterday's IRL interaction.
I might not send it,
Maybe.
Went out shopping,
And bought groceries and mops.
Then did caretaking,
And cleaned the Meeting House.
Searching for my grease gun,
No idea where it is now.
Going to have to buy a new one,
It's the only way to make the old one appear!

Today I did bins,
And then met Sue at work.
Did more bins,
And met the Reverend for a chat.
Cleared out more stuff from our house,
And filled our bins.
Took Mum to her appointment,
And caught up with some reading.
Dealt with some emails,
Then did caretaking,
A load more bins there too.
Got stuff sorted for the community workshop tomorrow,
And organised a donation of leather scraps for resale.
It's way too warm today,
I am struggling with the temperature.

Then did a quick tip trip afterwards.
Cleared a couple of mattresses,
Some wood, and other rubbish.
Loaded some timber on the trailer,
We'll take it to the community workshop on Thursday.
Took Mum to an appointment,
Where I did a lot of reading.
Did caretaking,
And a bit of maintenance work.
Watched a few videos,
And read a bit more.
Fell asleep on the sofa,
I need more sleep.

Today I installed a home made bracket on the wall outside,
It is to fit an old gifted hose reel.
Then I did a bit of spray painting,
On a hinged wooden bin lid.
Sorted out some of our bikes,
We're offering them to Manchester Bike Kitchen.
Then we began clearing out stuff,
Working through my stuff in the 'living room'.
We have piles for the tip,
And also for charity shops.
Went to meet my work manager,
And did a fire safety check with a contractor.
A neighbour asked if I'd move a trailer for them,
I agreed, but only if it was road legal and safe.
It would be better if I had a car transport trailer,
But that's not a good enough excuse to get one.
Caught up on a few videos,
But had enough for the day.

Today we had eggs for breakfast,

With miniatures and a diorama.
Went to the Stockport Masonic Guildhall,
And set up for an exhibition.
Showed off the club's miniaturing work,
Centred around 'The Repair Shop'.
Chatted with a lot of people,
And was on my feet almost the whole time.
A lot of money was raised for Charity,
It is going to the RNLI.
Came home and unloaded,
Then processed photographs for the club.
Checked in on Mum,
And had a little chat.
So exhausted,
No spoons left.

Today I didn't really want to do anything,
But ended up getting stuff ready for the exhibition tomorrow.
Vacuumed the car,
And put the diorama base in there.
Charged up my power banks,
It'll save running extension leads.
Packed a few tools,
In case things go wrong.
Cut down a cardboard box,
To carry a miniature boat.
Selected a load of images,
And wrote out some dialogue.
Printed and put in a folder,
As I can't take Harriet and Daisy with me.
Packed up our Gas Lands diorama,
It will provide variety.
Made a new hinged lid,
To go on our parcel delivery bin.
Made a packed lunch,
I'll need my own food tomorrow.
Had dinner with Mum,
Sue did a chicken curry and rice.
Watched Dr Who,
And a couple of videos.

Today I struggled to wake up,
After a bad night of bad dreams.
Got the laundry into the machine,
While rushing my breakfast.
Went to meet Sue at work,
And started cleaning the church windows.
Picked up my meds from the pharmacy,
On the way home.
Phone call and emails with work,
Then out into the garden.
Sorted through the scrap wood,
And old fencing mesh.
Built a cover for the water storage,
Now it looks a lot better.
Had a new pair of work boots delivered,
And went to clean the Meeting House.
Watched a few videos,
And fell asleep on the sofa.

And fitted battens around the felt.
Did a bit of shopping at Lidl,
And bought a ferrule crimper set.
Moved the cars about on the drive,
And unloaded 900+kg of paving slabs from the trailer.
Did a tip trip with rubble, old soil, and wood,
It was busy, but fuss free.
Did caretaking,
And also emails and admin.
Watched a few videos,
Then joined in #MakersHour.

Today I overslept,
And had to rush a bit.
I did the bins,
And went to meet Sue at work.

And did the bins there.
Afterwards I did hedge cutting,
Lowering the hedge on our south side.
After lunch I got out the water tanks in the back garden,
And pondered them.
I made a base of 70x50x8mm angle iron,
And plumbed the tanks together.
Did caretaking,
And the bins at work.
Did a bit of reading,
And watched a few videos.
Tired and sleepy now,
So calling it a day.

Today we took Mum shopping,
Then loaded up the scrap aluminium.
Went to the scarp yard,
And sold the scrap.
Popped in to B&Q,
Bought storage cases for under Bugsy's boot floor.
Went to the GP,
And got an appointment for Mum.
Modified Bugsy's boot floor,
To make clearance for the cases.
Did caretaking,
And got Sue to clear away a dead pigeon.
Stripped the bed for laundry,
And remade the bed after,
FreeTube not working tonight,
So have been reading instead.

Towed the trailer to Tyldesley,
And picked up 900+kg of paving slabs.
Home and parked the trailer.
Then went down to the Peak District,
To visit @Indigoatcrafts.
We chatted and had lunch,
Then sat outside a pub.
Enjoyed watching steam traction,
Before having tea.
Headed home for dinner,
Then had a little reshuffle of the driveway.

But very tired now.

Today we loaded up all the tools,
And went to Levenshlme Repair Cafe.
There were fewer repairers,
But it was also quieter.
I did some client repairs,
And also some for the tool library.
Won an Ebay auction,
I have to collect 14No. 900x600x50 paving slabs tomorrow!
Popped back into work,
And painted the repairs I did yesterday.
Watched a few videos,
And then we had a roast chicken dinner with Mum.
Watched Dr Who,
And then a couple more videos.

Today I woke up groggy,
After a bad night of weird dreams.
I did laundry,
And then went to meet Sue at work.
It must have been National Trash Your Church day yesterday,
The place was a tip!
Went trade shopping at B&Q,
Then went into work.
Did some repairs to damaged wall panels,
That was a lot of filling and sanding.
Put Scout's battery on charge,
We've mostly been driving in Bugsy.
Been chilling out with a book,
It's kinda nice not being online all the time (Sorry, it's not personal.).
We're at Levenshulme #RepairCafe in the morning,
Best get some sleep then.

Today we took Mum shopping,
And I was near falling over exhausted.
Had a brief rest at home after,
But then got on with rewiring the diorama.
Added resistors to dim the LEDs,
And switches to make life easier.
Combined the garden rainwater collection,
Basically pouring buckets together.
Watched a load of videos,
Then did caretaking.
Too tired to be useful,
But adding data to my diet record.
Need to fall asleep soon,
So winding up now.

Today I had to pop into work,
To check on a repair.
Carried out a simple job,
All well and good.
Sorted some admin,
And phone calls.
Then went for my scan results,
There is no sign of cancers, Yay!
Reworked the wiring on the diorama,
I had 4 Amps of LEDs vs 1Amp of voltage regulator! 😬
Lots of emails to deal with,
And then caretaking too.
Out to miniatures club,
Getting ready for an exhibition.

Today we had eggs for breakfast,
As is tradition.
Then I installed a 13Amp socket in the back garden,
And diverted some down pipes to collect the rain.
The rain never came,
So that was a waste of time!
I did some metal work,
Making a steel bracket to hold a 200mm wheel.
Also made a couple of brackets,
To hold rollers for the manual forklift.
Having been TIG welding a lot,
I have forgotten how messy flux core MIG welding is.
Did spray painting,
And then started watching videos.
Had dinner with Mum,
Sue did a seafood pie.
Watched more videos,
But tired now.
