I’m going to participate in the Asian Drama Lunie Awards that starts today, because it seems like a lot of fun thinking about all of the categories. Mine will be only kdramas though …

Day 1: funniest scene

I can’t think of one particular scene, so I’m going to mention two shows that made me laugh out loud every single episode: Mr. Queen and Yumi’s cells.

I convinced my partner to watch #MrQueen in spite of the subtitles.

He is cackling.

I feel like I have scored a major win for #kdramas.

That's Mr Queen finished. I wasn't too sure about it at first but the more I watched the more I got into it (especially the last few episodes). I am so glad that I didn't give up on it and that it ended the way it did #MrQueen #KDrama

I really didn't know what to expect going into this drama. It turned out to be one of the funniest, sweetest, vicious, and intriguing dramas yet for me. It is hilarious, but I also cried! Shin Hye-sun is so good as a male chef from current times in the Joseon period - I don’t know how she did it, but it was totally believable. I did not like the King at first, but his character really grew on me. The chemistry between the leads is also great. It is such an original story I couldn't begin to guess how everything would resolve. The supporting characters were so good.

One of my favorites of all time! It has great music and beautiful costumes and scenery along with such an interesting story and superb acting.

Ok you all in #kDrama who recommended me to watch #MrQueen were on point. Gosh what a show, few shows make me miss the characters when it ends and I def miss all the characters as the last episode credits roll what a perfect drama

The Korean show "Mr. Queen" is absolutely amazing. The acting is AMAZING, especially Hye-Sun Shin. I wasn't expecting much, but this is top-tier production quality. Also, I already thought I was getting a good length show, but each of those 20 episodes is over an hour, and some are closer to 1.5 hours. Not a complaint.
