All over the place with my watching right now.

Watch Parties:
-- Imperial Coroner (1 eps left! #cDrama) really entertaining
-- Law & the City (2 eps in) good so far
-- Reply 1997 (12 eps in) love it, but am dying to know

--------------------------
-- Bad & Crazy (1 eps left) really unique cop thriller.

-- Moon Lovers: Scarlett Heart Ryeo (2 eps left) can't yet bring myself to an ending I know I won't like

-- Love in the Moonlight (on eps 7) slow watch

-------------------------
REWATCH
When I went to Korea for the month of April & then had to do stuff to start moving to Portugal, my review stuff got messed up.

I started taking notes when I finished a series so that I could post a review later. But a few series got by before I started that, so I'm doing some fast rewatching.

-- When the Stars Gossip (I meant to only watch the 1st & last eps, but it was so good, this is now a full on rewatch.

-- Motel California (a bit of fforward, but so much better for me this time around)

Fellow #kdrama watchers, what are you watching right now?

I'm juggling several dramas (the problem with having a short attention span and needing to change things up regularly, plus different people sitting in on dramas with me).

On the go for me currently:

Melo Movie
- only 2 episodes left! Watching with M so must wait for her to be available long enough to get both at once.

See You In My 19th Life
- halfway through! Watching with R, finally.

So I Married the Anti-Fan
- more than halfway through! Watching with my online kdrama club friends, one episode per week as is tradition

Descendants of the Sun
- 3 episodes in with M and R! This was the second kdrama I ever saw, and rewatching it now many years later, I keep getting excited at actors I now recognise lol

@EllenInEdmonton @mel @whoosh finding out this was a KES Drama made sense of why it's not clicking with me. The MDL review I linked to expressed many of my concerns (and compliments), but YYS's character and performance have been a positive takeaway. Much of my lack of interest in him was due to his lead role in another KES #kDrama , the one I call #DullAndSnoozy I will likely endure #MrSunshine to the tediously far-off end and if I do, YYS will be half the reason why😀

I'm thoroughly relishing a calm at-home day today, after a relatively busy week and weekend. Last week involved grandchild supervision/transportation, beginning at 0700 hours. Fabulous fun, doing NYT puzzles each morning, and chatting about a wide range of topics.
Friday was Sew Day in Morinville with the silliest and warmest group of seniors. Friday evening and Sunday afternoon were spent with a language exchange group, speaking French, Korean, and English.
Saturday was a wonderful day with the grandchild, swimming at a massive rec centre with a lazy river, waves, and a diving board. Watched K-Pop Demon Hunters and did my laundry after supper.
Sunday morning is online Korean class and then a #kdrama watchparty.
Today, tidying up and making bone broth and hummus.
I feel very fortunate to have the health, the funds, the mental acuity, and the transportation to enjoy such a wide range of activities!

SIX votes for #kDrama #MrSunshine as next off the rank on my PTW list, and no votes against. Vox pppuli, vox dei.

FWIW, the reasons I've not tried it before have all been mentioned by various voters: "not a light watch", "pretty brutal" etc. Dramas like that are never my first choice, but a unanimous vote in favour wins the day. Especially when added to three other compelling reasons to watch

Mr. Sunshine #Kdrama: For a historical drama set during the early Japanese occupation near the end of the Joseon dynasty, with stellar acting led by Kim Tae Ri, Lee Byun Hun, directing, cinematography, bromance, strong FL leads, the Resistance.

A Dream Within A Dream #Cdrama: Just finished this and it turned out to be a fun watch. I liked so many characters. A must for Liu Yu Ning fans. Don't miss the bonus scene after Episode 40 credits, which wraps up the storyline nicely.
