Such a great hardware refresh from the original Lynx.

This is my personal device from then. I bought games first to help force my young self to save enough to buy the console. Worked!

Check out my video cleaning this game above, too. (with my kiddo's help) Cheers!
I didn't have any iPods but love how my photos of this Mini came out.

If you have any memories of owning an iPod Mini, I'd love to add them to this device in our collection. Cheers!
Guessing the Ds in this one stand for "display"? ;) From 2D to 3D then back to 2D (and the DSi and the 3D and 2D XLs) the DS certainly had a wild ride of variations.
"I remember when this came out. I was selling phones are RadioShack at the time. We all predicted (correctly) that we wouldn't sell a single one. And we didn't."

"I had one of these back in the early 90’s, remember I swapped it for a Game Boy and 9 games then suffered serious buyers regret as there were so few games available to me locally"

@_thegeoff What a lovely, chonky beast. I wonder when the first π button appeared on a calculator?
70s calculators were wild: either bonkers designs or built like tanks. This one is definitely the latter.
Early ‘00s MP3 player designs remind me of 1970s calculator designs: No one knew what they were doing. And I love it!
A Blackberry-esque smartphone with a Facebook button? Even in 2011 I'd say "gross"!

What devices did you have that had dedicated INSERT BRAND HERE buttons that were soon obsolete?
From Rian in California: “I'd make playlists for college parties, hook up my ipod to speakers. I would also dj with turntables and my laptop - god forbid if my system stopped working I had that ipod for backup.”

Did you have an iPod Nano? Reply or DM with your stories so we can add more real human context to this device in our museum. Thx!
A few years before Madden, this is what it looked like to play a digital football game in 1978.

Also, there a video of my kiddo and I cleaning this device up for its photo shoot. Enjoy!
This was my personal device from 18 years ago. I used it as a way to offload photos from my DSLR when away from home via the included CF card slot. Worked brilliantly!

These pics I took for my #HandheldMuseum came up in an app memory thingy and am pretty proud of them.
Is the Vita still your favorite handheld gaming experience? Certainly still holds up incredibly well 13 years later.
