Also at the park this morning I had my first ever recorded sighting of a green heron! I love them so much with sneaky long necks but had never actually seen one in the wild. I only had my phone with me so I couldn't take the best photos, and it just kept stalking back and forth along the shore and never stuck its neck out, but I was still really happy to spot it. Normally I have to get my green heron fix from @BeazLouise :blobcatcheer2:
