Lawkbutt

This critter has been banging around in my head since I was a teen. They're basically alien ostrich tumbleweed things that collect things according to their individual personalities. They're biomechanical, and their brains are located at the center of their fluffy bodies where they hide their "finds". The "Head" that sticks out of the top is actually a four fingered hand with multi-faceted eyes.

I'll need to mull over more of the details, but that's what I have so far!
