Here it goes again. Cockroach Labs is moving #CockroachDB to a fully proprietary license.
To be fair, they've already shifted away from #opensource back in 2019, when they replaced Apache2 with Business Source License #BSL for their Core.

This joins the recent #relicensing of #Redis, #Terraform and other prominent #FOSS projects. Which brings us back to the fundamental question:

In June 2024 validation was maintained for over 30 projects, including: #CockroachDB #doxygen & #HashiCorp's #Terraform

Also, the AI/ML team at #IBM did initial work focused on s390x compatibility for Mage AI & the Triton Inference Server received compatibility fixes for big endian platforms.

#elasticsearch + #Kibana = 1.1GB of files. It feels like way too much for what the feature set it is being provided. It boggles my mind how much code is needed to fill 700MB!

Meanwhile, #cockroachdb is being a good boy and just using 150MB, and it includes a super-helpful Web UI.
