This is wrong. COVID is a continuing threat and millions have Long COVID. We still need to do more to mitigate its harms.
According to Maga, Project 2025 people in admin and Musk/DOGE only low income people and non-whites need such public health services. You know ,people who can't afford to pay.
Same for education and Medicaid and housing and food......
The Maga government is not here to provide any free public services. Its purpose is "self-service" for the wealthy to prosper further.

@luckytran not to mention the permanent damage and conditions that are caused by Covid, many, like Hyponatremia, that can still kill you, even after the Covid is gone.
(I learned all about hyponatremia during my ER visit last week. My bodily systems were already starting to shut down. The ER LITERALLY saved my life.)
@luckytran hospitals are already doing layoffs because previously allocated funding Trump has refused payout to them. Expect more layoffs to happen and more people to die from lack of healthcare.
Covid is still an ongoing crisis, it is not over.
