It looks like #MedTwitter may soon be a thing of the past so I’m reposting my #MedMastodon introduction in the hope of reconnecting with many who have been part of the family over there.
My name is Oli. I’m a Junior Doctor just outside (or inside, depending on your viewpoint) London. I tweeted and will continue to Toot to document life as a doctor starting out in the #NHS.

I also post about my career aspirations and future plans. I am hoping to become an #anaesthetist (#anesthesiologist ), #intensivecare doctor and to subspecialise within #PrehospitalCare.
I’m a long way off that at the moment, but love the power of social media in building connections and understanding of the career paths of those more senior, as well as other professions in the areas I want to work.
I will miss Twitter. But hopefully #MedMastodon will become home soon enough.
