Another teacher I admire, Rabbi Hillel, gave us 3 questions to guide our personal journey, to inspire servant-leaders:
If I am not for myself, who is for me?
And if I am only for myself, what am I?
And if not now, when?
I hope you find opportunities to practice the gifts of the #12daysofleanleadership, to reflect on Hillel's questions, and #servant-leadership.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

A quotation from Hock, Dee W.:
«
If you don’t understand that you work for your mislabeled “subordinates,” then you know nothing of leadership. You know only tyranny.

Historical question: how did people come up with the idea that the earth was flat? Why flat? Why not bagel? Why not sphere? I mean why did they hypothyse about that without evidence?
~ We may have incredible faith that the lord #JesusChrist has the ability, the power and the authority to Help/Heal us ... It is beyond heartfelt and touching though, that he Truly Desires to serve us.
YES!! #Jesus not only Can do All things, but he IS WILLING WANTS TO personally minister to each and every one of Us.

I have a genuine #historical question: "I wonder how did kings manage to compel their servants and other people that their power was given by Gods? Why did people want to be ruled by kings? Why did they buy that scam?

#Servant on #AppleTVPlus is a show about people being very confidently incorrect.

Increasingly I’m coming to believe that a person raised on the idea that #leadership means attaining a position that allows you to tell others what to do will inherently struggle with the idea of #servant leadership. It’s not an immovable obstacle, but it requires a mental shift that makes room for leaders with dirt on their hands.
Spoiler for Glass, Servant and The Village
#servant has such high highs and low lows. Not much middleground.
It’s Shyamalan at his best and worst.
