Of course, you do realize that I want the original #SpaceJam #Website to have at least a couple of posts using the #ActivityPub protocol, preferably one by @BugsBunny@SpaceJam.com that says:
"Michael sure can play! But everyone's distracted by Lola..."
And maybe some homage to Tex Avery, if he wasn't a complete monster.
In any case, you get my point. It's not actually a #SocialPlatform, a #Service, or any kind of #platform at all. The web just got a jungle telegraph. Have at it, Hoss.
Interesting.
A private photo-sharing app on the Fediverse.
Basically a Pixelfed like but where all accounts are private.
I don't like putting private things on the internet, but I may give it a try.

I have decided to setup my own custom domain over at Bluesky thanks to the suggestion by @ernmander
If anyone is interested in following me over there, you can do so via the link below.
#Bluesky's stormy day:
How its explosive growth led to inevitable #outages
The swift expansion of the #X rival reveals the urgent need for #decentralized #infrastructure to ensure a scalable, user-owned #socialplatform.
The #AndreessenHorowitz-backed platform launched in a closed beta in November 2022, but now it’s set to shutter “within the next few weeks.” It serves as a #SocialPlatform that also offers users ad-free access to #Paywalled content from publishers such as Fortune, Business Insider, Wired, The Boston Globe, and others. #SocialMedia
#Twitter alternative #PostNews is shutting down

A little while ago, a user with many followers (whom I have been interacting with for over a year, when the topics are interesting) joyfully shared about the recent increase in Fediverse users. I responded that I'm afraid we will unfortunately lose many of them (as has happened before) because the lack of an algorithm can destabilize those who are accustomed to it. My comment, as I usually do, was meant constructively. The person called me a troll (thus not recognizing me, even though they usually remembered who I was in our interactions) and blocked me. Now I read that many new users are being "pressed" by long-time users who claim to teach them (Mastosplaining?). Is this wonderful wave of new users getting to the heads of many long-time users? The Fediverse is about plurality. If you want strict rules and to be kicked out for disagreeing, there are other social platforms.
@csdummi @fediversenews as much as I like #Mastodon I haven't seen any other #SocialPlatform so obsessed with what's going on on other social platforms.
