The last bit in the recent #Rockström talk https://yewtu.be/watch?v=p9ej7yHxaps
about planetary boundaries raises the question of whether we have or can get regional assessments in that framework. Europe, and in particular Germany feature in agricultural pollution reports but it'd be helpful if the toxic industry is put into context of the #PlanetaryBoundary concept. How much of the globally breached boundary is down to our regional animal farming and obsolete farming practices in Europe? Like with CO2, you know. We know exactly how much fossil fuel we import, burn, and export, and how much of it lands in the atmosphere to cause drought and floods and mass dying in East Africa, the degradation of the Amazon as carbon sink and home to rich biodiversity and so on.
