A nice bit of Welsh scenery to cleanse your Monday timeline; views from Craig-yr-Aderyn (Birds Rock) along the Dysynni valley.

"Through the door of the birds
Where the breeze breaks..."

A view from a steep, rocky hill down to a green valley far below. The valley floor is a patchwork of flat fields. Across the valley further high hills rise in a long green ridge. In the distance to the right the sea can be seen, a blue line meeting the sky. There is partial cloud cover, throwing some parts of the landscape temporarily into shadow while other parts are illuminated by sunshine.

The stones form an arc and also a row, plus a fantastic quartz block.

Back in time to April 2019.....

Bodnant Garden is a world-famous National Trust garden located in Tal-y-Cafn, Conwy, North Wales.

One of the highlights at Bodnant is the Laburnum Arch, this is one of Bodnant’s most famous features! It's a 180-foot-long tunnel of golden-yellow laburnum flowers which blooms spectacularly in late May to early June.
