Ich bin schon ziemlich lange im #Fedivere #Fediversum unterwegs. Aber nachdem ich Mastodon eine kurze Zeit intensiver genutzt hatte, fehlte mir einiges – ich ging zu #FireFish und wurde ohne mein Zutun zu einem (sehr zufriedenen) #SharKey-Nutzer.

Das Fediversum ist so viel mehr als das (m.M.n. beschnittene) Mastodon …

Was ich ein interessantes Phänomen am #Fedivere finde ist die SEHR starke Bublebildung.

Das ist gar keine Kritik; ich bin froh, dass ich mir hier mehr oder weniger ähnlich wie ich tickende Menschen zusammensammle. Ist ja im RL auch nicht anders. Will es nur mal sagen, fällt mir immer wieder auf und sollte einem Klar sein dass man hier NICHT der Meinung von Mehrheiten gegenüber steht, sondern mehr oder weniger sich die Leute eigenständig aussucht und das verfestigt sich je mehr Kontakte man hat verrückter Weise meiner Beobachtung nach sogar noch.

Bei den Peoplefarmern ist das auch so, aber dort entscheiden auf Konzerngewinn optimierte Algorythmen über die Blasenzugehörigkeit.

Here is my 2 cents on the threads thing.

A lot of personal services like Tattoo Artists, Barbers/Stylists, food trucks, small business, creators, and many other businesses use Instagram as their primary method of socializing their work and use it heavily.

A lot of those people may want to expand their business with the #fedivere we all should support it.

Many have years invested in Instagram followings based on my personal experience working with them people.

Humans still post content regardless of who owns the platform they choose, it’s the whole reason federation works.

As another wave of asocial media refugees hits mastodon, make sure to keep the fediverse intact and choose to create an account on smaller servers. This will ensure mastodon stays social. I propose #openweb is a good way of expressing a less "tribal" view than #fedivere from both a tech and social view. It's #nothingnew as well which is always a breath of fresh air. Can use both, but we need to start to use the generic term more to be meaningful change and challenge to the #mainstreaming mess.
