Carbon capture (CC) has been a failure so far, and oil companies are hiding behind it to justify more fossil fuel extraction. But I think we're at the point where we have to invest in improving CC technology, and eventually deploy it en masse to build a global CC economy.

Hmm.. this is not the one I was thinking of.. still looking.. but argues similarly that extolling #Carboncapture is predominantly a fools errand at best and dire action from reduction at worst.

My bias is that talk of #CarbonCapture is oil and gas (and politicians) attempting greenwashing and distraction. My bias may also be that, because #Daniellezebub is pushing it, it is likely thus.
