@rchusid@med-mastodon.com@wjmaggos Problem is that Biden also had very serious issues and Harris indicated she agreed with his policies. The goal was to get a less shitty Dem--first by having Biden replaced and then, when Harris became the candidate, to attempt to push her to change some of her policies.
It was clear that if Harris did not change her policies, there was no path to victory in the electoral college so no point in compromising principles and voting for her.
