@nilikm @CBCNews Comparing covid to a fire, Alberta will wait until half of the province has burned down before they pick up the phone to call 911. While they're busy getting it under control, the government will complain about it hurting the economy and cut funding to the fire department. From there the government will take credit for any success and say the fires only killed people with pre-existing conditions so we shouldn't care.
