To every politician and medical leader in #Canada,
This is a #SafeSeptember plea to #MaskUp indoors and #BringBackMasks in healthcare settings.
A new surge has started in most provinces. 1 in 46 people in Canada are CURRENTLY infected.
It is 6 months since many had our last booster. The new vaccine is ~2 months away.

We have no family doctor to ask, so I have been trying to find out from PH about the new vaccine arrival and whether we should get boosted with one of the older versions while waiting. Both over 65 with issues. Suggestions?
@Lomaxcat @nilikm @MoriartyLab my pharmacist told me to wait till September. That would allow my immunity to go down before getting the next shot in September.

We will be 6 months at the beginning of Sept and my husband is immunocompromised as well as having other issues, as do I. I'm wondering if the new vaccine will be available in Sept or not until much later.
@Lomaxcat @nilikm @MoriartyLab I think it's ready next month. I can ask my pharmacist again to be sure. Would that help you? Where (generally) are you?
