Today RFK and co. removed the COVID vaccine from the CDC's recommended immunization schedule for children and pregnant people.
This is junk science. COVID puts children and pregnant people at higher risk for ER visits and hospitalizations, and Long COVID can cause chronic health issues for anyone.
COVID vaccines are an important tool to reduce serious health risks and should continue to be available to everyone.
@luckytran When I heard about the last restrictions on the vaccines, I went out and got a shot, even though it was a little early for me.
I've been trying to read up on whether or not it's possible to travel to Canada for vaccinations.
We have the best scientists and research universities in the world, but our politics is so broken we can't accept the fruits of their work.
@luckytran This is the death panel the Replblicans "warned" us about. We thought they didn't want them... in reality they wanted to pick the people who would be on them. Here they are.
So RFK wants to remove vaccination for healthy kids and healthy pregnant women. Because vaccination is too late and thus nugatory once they've become ill?
@luckytran
A cult of death ...

@luckytran notice how they claim there's no evidence for its efficacy yet claim this is a step to make people healthier, which doesn't add up or make sense. They know what they're doing. They're playing to the anti-vaxxer base, and misinformed/uneducated base that don't understand the importance of vaccines nor understand how they work.
You can observe the same slimy tactics in their Senate hearings, but Americans, god bless them they haven't had a fascist coup before, don't realise that no these are not "stupid" politicians, they know exactly what they are doing when they avoid answering questions by giving an irrelevant or wrong answers. They are not doing the hearings for the Senate (the opposition has no power and Republicans are voted in by religious morons), they are doing it for the media. Every time they lie and/or omit truths, they get a clip they can rile up their base with, because in fascism rationality doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is who can do what (like get away with things or 'stand their ground'). They are also playing on the fact that most if not all opposition media and public personalities (aside from Sanders, AOC, etc) are easily drawn to rage bait and will wear down people, a fascism winning condition.
@luckytran It's a death cult ....
@luckytran
Lembra os três patetas
@luckytran @blogdiva Where did they find two MDs to lead NIH and the FDA who would happily spew lies in the face of all the peer-reviewed papers that contradict these statements?
@ramsey @luckytran that to me is part of the problem. who certified those bozos?
@luckytran Who wants their baby to have symptoms including "razor-blade in throat"? JFC
@luckytran Pure madness. I suppose one potential positive outcome is a reduction in the human population, given that the world is over-populated. But sad for those who are impacted.
This is a sick farce, right?

@luckytran RFK Jr. is precisely the mentally disordered science denier Trump-sponsoring, -mentoring & puppeteering subversive flat-earther ideologues need to idiotically reshape U.S. government & formerly "satanic" science-based government healthcare policies & politics.
@luckytran does “remove from recommendations” mean “ppl can’t get it” or “it won’t be covered” or…?
@luckytran Serving death sentences on a platter.

@luckytran you couldn't be happier, Bob? I bet you couldn't.
