The AHA now emphasizes chest compressions and bystanders can do hands only cpr
1) Call 911
2) Push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of the Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive.” The song is 100 beats per min – the minimum rate you should push on the chest
@kiswanson Seriously, CPR is way easier than it was 20 years ago and AED is ridiculously easy. Take the time, get the cert, maybe save a life
@kiswanson Thank you for these posts! At Christmas eve services, we witnessed and helped with 2 medical emergencies that occurred simultaneously. Not SCA, but still very sobering.
