Looking forward to my public philosophy salon later today at the Wansha Performing Arts Centre, Tainan, talking about the limits of philosophy, in both Mandarin and English.

As language learning tips go, "volunteer to run a philosophy salon in your target language" is perhaps not for everyone. But the monthly wild panic and accompanying feverish preparation has been doing wonders for my Mandarin.
