Round and round we go. They were saying this in the 80s when I was kid, bullied by the sports kids. Just as well I didn't have have Silicon Valley nihilism to turn me, but I was too busy pushing down feelings of Queerness so I could 'fit in'

This includes, among other steps, setting aside 500 Youth @ Workpositions next fiscal year to employ youth impacted by the Eaton Fire, establishing a satellite America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) in Altadena to connect residents with employment resources and job placement assistance, and directing the L.A. County Development Authority to create a small business loan program to assist businesses that survived the fire.
