Yesterday's Rose

218,000 #gamerscore. Crossed the line playing Little Kitty, Big City (Game Pass).

That's that for this month's achievements I guess. Got the gold this month in two #TrueAchievements targets ("easter egg hunt" for collectible achievements, and for games/achievements starting with 'F'/'OO'/'L', both playing Life is Strange BtS Remaster. Could only get +1580 gamescore this month so I got bronze (+1000) in the gamerscore target.

The custom Xbox Series X back has come out great so far. Everything fits nicely and looks good. The little window to see the hidden Masterchief is aligned perfectly too. I recessed the screw holes in this one so they now sit flush.

Now the shape is good, I’ll work on some designs.

Printed some new mounts for my new controllers. It’s meant the 2 x Quest 3 headsets and controllers need a new home. Might need to get rid of my Metroid picture.

It seems like a lot of controllers, but mods for those devices very nearly pay my mortgage each month.

#xbox remote play was removed from the iOS apps and moved to a web-only experience. I have #feelings, and after an hour trying to get it to work, an #engineering opinion.

This is completely #stupid since the web app now has to talk to my Xbox behind my router, instead of a direct LAN connection - which we relied upon to keep the TV free, not play from outside the house.

And guess what, right now nothing works except a third-party streaming app - which, of course, is designed to use the LAN.

Began playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. The amazing intro to the game, where you escape prison with Emperor Uriel Septim VII (Patrick Stewart), is all claustrophobic and suffocating stone corridors!
