Why does [mod:alt/shift/ctrl] only work when it's first and not when it's last in a macro?

Example:
/cast [mod:alt] Harrier's Cry; [pet:cat] Primal Rage; Harrier's Cry

works

/cast [pet:cat] Primal Rage; [mod:alt][] Harrier's Cry

Doesn't work when I press alt

Why?

Well, I think I just found out today that I have been playing the wrong hero talents in S2 of #WorldOfWarcraft lol.

Started practicing tonight and looks promising, but my feel is completely off with the very different rotation and different utilities in this sub-spec.

I got cocky in a T11 delve and even a ton of AOE damage could not keep me alive with nine mobs chasing me.

Wait. We just got a (less than optimal) cooldown display, and now Hekili is becoming baseline and we even get a one-click rota, but with a longer GCD?

Did the t8 delves become easier in s2 or is it really just Bran having a couple levels more? I'm not even at the gear level I was at the end of s1 and I'm breezing through them.
