Rainverse Wiki<p><span>When Rainverse Wiki left Fandom, Fandom maintained an abandoned copy of the former Rain Wiki. On August 10, that copy was vandalized with transphobia. Since there were no active admins, no one in the community could ban the vandal. A few days later, Fandom responded to the vandalism by closing their copy of Rain Wiki. 30 days later, Fandom has now deleted their copy of the wiki from their servers. <br><br>While transphobic vandalism is bad, the wiki's deletion from Fandom is good. Fandom is still </span><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20240710043519/https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:Quick_Answers" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">using the text of wikis to "train" a procedural bullshit-generator</a><span>, and inserting their procedurally-generated bullshit into articles. Now that Fandom deleted Rain Wiki from their site, it will not be used for that purpose. Aside from the ethics, our wiki is of substantially higher quality even before Fandom's was vandalized. We have more than twice as many articles, and our articles are more detailed. <br><br>Google, Bing, and Yandex still have cached versions of Rain Fandom Wiki, including some vandalized pages. You can hide those results from searches by installing the browser extension </span><a href="https://getindie.wiki/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Indie Wiki Buddy</a>, maintained by <a href="https://payravi.xyz/@kevin" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@kevin@payravi.xyz</a><span> . The extension redirects you from Fandom wikis to equivalent ethically-hosted wikis. If no independent wiki is known, it can redirect to BreezeWiki, a privacy-respecting proxy for Fandom. It also has the option to hide Fandom results from searches.<br><br>Fandom is still hosting a copy of My Impossible Soulmate Wiki. That wiki has had no edits since May. We also have more than five times as many articles just about MIS. Unlike the now-deleted Rain Fandom Wiki, the MIS Fandom Wiki </span><i>does</i> have a semi-active bureaucrat. Though we recommend our wiki over the Fandom version, we hold no animosity towards the bureaucrat of the Fandom MIS wiki, and we ask that you do <i>not</i><span> vandalize his wiki and create more work for him. <br></span><a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/Rain" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Rain</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/MyImpossibleSoulmate" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#MyImpossibleSoulmate</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/Rainverse" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Rainverse</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/RainverseWiki" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#RainverseWiki</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/MediaWiki" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#MediaWiki</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/Miraheze" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Miraheze</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/Fandom" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Fandom</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/FandomWiki" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FandomWiki</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/Wikia" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Wikia</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/QuickAnswers" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#QuickAnswers</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/RainWiki" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#RainWiki</a> <a href="https://thetransagenda.gay/tags/MyImpossibleSoulmateWiki" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#MyImpossibleSoulmateWiki</a></p>
