Before the clouds rolled in, Shylo took advantage of the sunshine on a record-breaking 79° day in Billings! When she got up to eat, I also took advantage and made a footstool out of her cat seat. You chews, you lose. She found another sunbeam. All was well.

Spring is here with a full blast from the sun! It will still take several days to melt all the thick ice, but the good news is that the weather forecast has plenty of warm days ahead of us,

Took also a bit of tumble and landed face first on the ice while holding firewood, but luckily escaped without any injuries (just a small scratch on the tip of the nose). Let that serve as a reminder to watch where you step as it is still dangerously slippery out there!

Coming up on the Spring Equinox and this feels a little like spring or early summer to me. Around here where I am, Winter hasn't given up, there are still some cold windy days.
