ƧƿѦςɛ♏ѦਹѤʞHow is it that the presentation, voice-over and animation style of a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BBC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#BBC</a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/dinosaur" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#dinosaur</a> programme made in 2025 can be so utterly worse than its direct predecessor made in 1999?! The HD textures and scenery are all very lovely but so much of the actual animation physics is comically cartoon-like. And the narration is turgid, patronisingly staccato and unengaging. ƧƿѦςɛ♏ѦਹѤʞPresumably, repeatedly interrupting the 'action' with cut-aways of palaeontologists (or are they actors?) pretending to be terribly serious about having just discovered a fossil is meant to distract us from the pathetically primitive Disneyesque animation.
