TIL this crane type is called a cherry picker, so does this still count as a #cherryblossom post?

Apart from that, just a modest exercise in composition. The BW version is clearer, but sometimes it feels a bit like cheating, as the original was in color...

Detroit’s Guardian Building—an Art Deco masterpiece in brick, tile, and limestone. The details on this place are incredible up close, but I love how the upward angle emphasizes its towering presence. Built in the 1920s, and still one of the most striking façades in any American city.
