Okay, creepy shit. I got downstairs to find two lamps on & the power strip for my PC setup all lit up & switched on.

Windows were all locked (just been opening some), checked I'd locked both front & back doors, walked through last night's end of day routine & have no explanation for things that were off being on, especially not the power strip which requires two physical switches to be switched in a location that they cannot be accidentally pressed (each require a solid press).

I'm going to be scratching my head over this one. Not the first time weirdness has happened but this might be step up.

Downside = creepy & weird
Upside = weird & who knows, might feed my imagination

@npr #dca has been an absolute #disaster waiting to happen for 30+ years. I lived on 17th & P street for the better part of a decade.

After an #unexplained veer-sharply-to-the-right-and-return-to-circling near stall experience (I have my pilot’s license. I know how to do that.) I started flying into gawd-forsaken #dulles and spending an extra hour home.

I am so sorry for the families of those lost. That sh*t-hole needs to be shut down. In reality It only exists to ferry #congress to and fro.

Another fabulous podcast from Richard MacLean Smith, and what a nerve shredder. It’s as gripping as any movie. The remarkable tale of Ellen and William Craft, who daringly attempted to escape slavery, and the misery of life in Georgia in 1848.
The story’s hard to listen to at times, and the horror of the slave trade is beyond belief. The fact it existed at all is an indelible stain on humanity.
Please listen. Everyone should.
