The question is not really who will buy #TSLA, but whether or not anyone will. The real question is whether or not #Tesla has anything fundamentally valuable in the long term that can be bought.

Tesla doesn't really seem to have any technology assets. I can see that maybe their battery manufacturing operations might hold value, assuming anything we have been told about the company is actually true, and we can't be sure, because Tesla's CEO is a liar. But the cars?

CleanTechnica · Who Will Buy Tesla When It Goes Bankrupt? - CleanTechnicaAs the value of Tesla shares collapse, we have to ask, are we witnessing the end of a company we once admired?

#Tesla's shady accounting is, like death and taxes, a universal constant.

Elon Musk's car company chose to include $600 million in bitcoin profits in their GAAP numbers last quarter. For the most recent quarter, however, after bitcoin prices went down and Tesla lost most of $100 million, #TSLA has chosen to exclude the loss from their GAAP earnings per share.

While there might not even be anything illegal about this (the loss is acknowledged in a different place) it is accounting sophistry of the highest order designed to juice a few selected numbers.

I just had a quick look what Reddit shares geeks say.
#TSLA is on the precipice;

From a guy who's only expertise is "staring at trading charts"

"TSLA is teetering at critical support around $217–$220. If it breaks, it’s not just a dip—it’s the trapdoor to parabolic downside. • $217.80 & $215.62 are long-standing technical floors. If those give way, we’re looking at a death cross, oversold RSI, and zero sentiment support = panic sell mode. • No earnings guidance. No new products. Global pullbacks. Tariff headwinds. • Public sentiment? Cratered. Elon’s political baggage and over-promises are catching up. • Options market is pricing ±9%, and skew is bearish.

This is the setup for a classic bull trap. Once $217 snaps, expect algo flushes and margin pukes. Break that floor and it’s sledding season."

Edit: And once it hits $144, Felon Muscovite gets Margin called.

Any bump that TSLA got because of Trump and Musk's relationship, and the hopes that laid for it, is now gone. #USPol

You can see where it was doing normal market fluctuations, then start going up when Musk started appearing with Trump, then dramatically after Trump was elected.

The question is, where will it go from here. #TSLA #Tesla #Musk #USPol

The long-awaited split between Pres. Trump and Mr. Musk may be starting: axios.com/2025/04/08/musk-nava

I did a poll on this a few months ago, and I think most people expected it to have started before now.

What will be the effect on the #TSLA stock price? It's currently down $50 from where it was after the election last November.
