Join us for #Debian #Trixie Bug Squashing Party at #Kochi this weekend! Details at
lists.debian.org/debian-dug-in

RC bugs for trixie was around 460 few weeks back, it has come below 400 yesterday, now at 417.

bugs.debian.org/release-critic You can help fix them even if you can't come to the party. We should try to bring that down to as small as possible.

I filed rm requests to remove many rc buggy and unused ruby leaf packages. Thunderbird shows 86 mails matching "rm rom ruby" and "from me" in April.

I wanted to try #Mobian #Trixie on my #Librem5 again as I got a way to go back to #pulseaudio to as a work around to missing echo cancellation support in #pipewire (Thanks to @dos ). So I went ahead and ran the usual apt dis-upgrade way (in hindsight, may be gnome software was a better option). But I got locked out of the session as upgrade was progressing. So I had to force shut down and then use #JumpDrive to repair it from my laptop.

I documented it in #debian wiki

I've got a weird problem with @libreoffice ...

Whenever I'm using fractional scaling, the little 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ (etc.) buttons to change the detail level (collapse all of the groups) are way too small, and kinda misshapen (overlapping each other).

When I'm *not* using fractional scaling, they're **still** too small, but not overlapping.

I'm running the native package on #Debian #Trixie.

Just FYI, I'm running LO with the `QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb` env var, because otherwise I get *really* weird fractional scaling issues on #KDE #Plasma #wayland

But *this* particular problem I had even when running KDE #X11 on #Plasma 5.27 on Debian Stable. :/

Me, yesterday: "Oh, nice #Debian #trixie is on its way to stable, that means I could already start upgrading my laptop and maybe test a bit while getting newer software…"

Me, today, after pressing "U" in aptitude, followed by 3 hours of manual conflict resolution because the auto-resolver runs out of memory, has now at least found a sweet spot to upgrade the first quarter of all packages…
