food for thought re: Pavel Durov and #Telegram from one of the world's more famously correct cynics
(not sure i or jim chanos believe this but it definitely deserves to be considered given the totality of the circumstances)
i don't know whether the charges against pavel durov are just or reasonable but i do know that few things say LARP as loudly as tweeting about cryptography or opsec from a device with Telegram installed on it
(also i don't understand why no one mentions that Telegram has its own cryptocurrency Toncoin which is probably how Durov made the real money)
