Hello all, I'm trying to gain access to this board that posted an almost complete collection of Emulator ii sound files in .wav format. For those that don't know, the Emulator is a 1980s sampler that had sample disks which you could load into the emulator and play from your DAW.
I am looking to start the Emulator project which aims to archive all of the samples from every bank and every patch, so that they will be usable in OpenMPT for everyone, but the board that had this isn't letting me registor to request reupload. If someone can help me create an account or bypass the justification system as it's not letting me go for some reason, I would really appreciate it! The forum link is

Wendy Carlos helped Moog make their first commercial synthesizer. she released her album *Switched-on Bach* in 1968 featuring some of Bach's music played on a Moog modular synthesizer. the album won her 3 grammies, was called "the greatest album of the decade" by renowned pianist Glenn Gould, peaked at #10 on US Billboard 200, and was #1 in Billboard's Classical Albums chart from '69 to '72

she went on to make a few more albums, and score the music for A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, and Tron. in 2005, she was awarded the SEAMUS Lifetime Achievement Award "in recognition of lifetime achievement and contribution to the art and craft of electro-acoustic music". she played a big role in popularizing synthesizers and helping get them recognized as a legitimate musical instrument

well guess what, that woman is trans ! in '79, she disclosed that she'd been living as a trans woman since at least '68. her prominence in the music space helped bring visibility to trans issues.
