@nafmo yeah, I had that discussion several years ago, cuz an employer had to nudge senior devs to move from #Subversion to #git simply because noone who joined in new wanted to deal with #svn and it seems obvious the company ain't gonna find someone willing to not charge an exorbitant premium for dealing with it.
git just handles branching, merges and multiple contributors way better.That's not to say subversion "can't" do these things, it's just that it's way more painful from the little experience I had with it.
