While this speaks volumes of the portability of <a href="https://mstdn.science/tags/clang" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>clang</span></a>, it also creates opportunities for transporting a significant chunk of R's functionalities into other languages, e.g. by writing swig interfaces.
